Sound Healing

Last Sunday of the Month Sound Bath Meditation
Cost: $35
I am happy to announce that we will be restarting our Last Sunday of The Month Sound Bath Meditation Series on September 25th. This series will focus on the Vibrational Frequencies of the Tibetan Chakra System. According to Dr. John Beaulieu, music therapist and naturopathic doctor, some of the sound healing benefits of this system are its ability to alleviate depression, enhance joint mobility, enhance the immune system, balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

At a Sound bath Meditation, participants lay down comfortably and then are “immersed” in the sounds, vibrations and harmonics of the instruments. Gongs, Himalayan bowls, crystal singing bowls, tuning forks and shamanic percussion instruments are played in a clinically tested, therapeutic sequence to maximize healing benefits.

No previous knowledge or experience is required. Sound is a very accessible form of meditation where benefits are usually experienced right after the first session. You simply lay down and bathe in the ocean of sound.

Practicing Sound Meditation Regularly can have deep healing and restorative effects. A recent study published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine found that regular hour-long sound meditations help to reduce tension, anger, anxiety, and increase spiritual well-being in adults.

You will need an exercise or extra thick yoga mat and water. Having a blanket, pillow and eye pillow will add additional comfort to your experience.
